Ice Skating At ICE Santa Monica (now through January 21, 2019)
Would you ever have guessed that it’s possible to go ice skating next to a beach? Downtown Santa Monica sets up an 8,000 square foot ice rink by the beach every holiday season at the corner of 5th Street and Arizona Avenue. Skate rental with all-day admission is only $15 per person,and you can stash your stuff in a locker for only $5.
Whether you’re on a date, taking skating lessons, hanging out with friends, or having a party in a private event cabana, ICE Santa Monica is the place to be this holiday season!
Wonderland By The Water (now through January 6, 2019)
This holiday season,the Santa Monica Pier is throwing Wonderland by the Water. With different events all the time, including Story Time in Wonderland, a “Seadragons Village” in the windows of the Merry-Go-Round building, and giveaways, the Pier is the place to be this holiday season!
Cinema On The Street (Wednesdays at 6 pm through January 16, 2019)
Part of Winterlit at the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade, Cinema on the Street occurs every Wednesday night at 6 pm through January 16, 2019. Happening on the plaza at 1324 5th Street, Cinema on the Street offers free showings of classic films related to Los Angeles and the holidays.
Holiday Mermaid Photo Opportunities (Fridays through December 21, 2018)
Fridays at the Santa Monica Pier from 3-7 pm, you can get your picture taken with real Merfolk as sea scenes come to life with Mermaids. Presented by the Santa Monica Public Library and Dark Tide Productions, the Holiday Mermaid Photo Opportunities also include a story time at 4 pm.
Dancing with the Beach Belles (December 20-24, 2018)
The Third Street Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica hosts Dancing with the Beach Belles December 20-24, 2018 from 4-8 pm. Visitors can catch special performances from the Santa Monica Beach Belles, a dancing sensation!
