Where are you located?
We’re located at 1615 Ocean Front Walk in Santa Monica. We’re not on the Pier but down the steps across from the carousel along the boardwalk.
Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations. Big Dean’s has always been first come first seated.
What about party rental?
For large party rentals, please contact the restaurant directly at (310) 393-2666 and ask for TJ.
Do you allow animals?
As much as we love animals, we only allow ADA compliant service animals. Emotional support animals are not considered ADA compliant. It gets very hot and busy at the beach so we suggest leaving your pups at home.
Where can I park?
There are two lots located on either side of us and both are accessible via Appian Way. There’s a short term parking lot with a maximum of two hours and an all day parking lot.
Are you following Covid-19 protocols?
Absolutely! We’re closely following State and County Covid-19 guidelines. For more in depth details, please reach out to our contact page and we’re more than happy to answer any questions regarding this.
Why is there a 90 minute time limit?
Under Covid-19 guidelines we’re operating at a much lower capacity than usual. The temporary 90 minute time limit on tables enables the line to keep moving and ensures all guests have a fair opportunity to dine with us. We encourage all guests in your group to be present prior to seating to make the most of your time together. We appreciate your understanding!
